Fakkas, small crispy dried fruit cookies
A recipe straight from Morocco, that
I have perfected in order to make it accessible to all.
These small crunchies full of flavors will gladly accompany a good glass of tea.
💥1Kg of flour
💥250g of sugar
💥120ml melted butter
💥120ml of oil
💥1 bag of baking powder
💥1 bag of vanilla sugar
💥60ml of lukewarm milk
💥300g of hazelnuts
💥200g of pistachio
💥200g of nuts
💥1 cup soluble coffee
♦️ ️In a bowl, mix the eggs, sugar, oil, butter and vanilla sugar.
♦️ ️ Gradually add the flour and baking powder until you have a soft dough that is a little sticky.
♦️ ️form 4 balls
♦️ Spread each ball out into a rectangle,
brush with egg white and arrange the almonds, walnuts, pistachio on the dough all along (watch the video on my YouTube channel the touria recipes).
♦️ Roll the dough into a sausage shape and brush with a beaten egg with soluble coffee and sprinkle with flaked almonds.
♦️ ️Bake for half cooking at 160 ° for 20 to 25min.
♦️ ️ Take them out of the oven and put them in the freezer until they harden.
♦️ ️ cut your sausages using a knife or a cutter
♦️ ️Place the Fekkas on a baking sheet and put them back in the oven to brown them.
Store them in an airtight box.
