A drizzle of olive oil and direction Morocco with this very popular dish that can be found in other regions of the Maghreb.

The bessara is a puree, or rather thick velvety, made from split peas or dried beans. Served hot, it will provide you with all the energy benefits.

✔ ingredients
💥250g of beans
💥250g split peas
💥2cac of cumin
💥2cb of salt
💥1 tsp of turmeric
💥5 cloves of garlic
💥 2 tbsp olive oil
💥1.5 l of water

♦️ ️Rinse the split peas and broad beans and drain them.
♦️ ️Put in a pot or casserole dish add salt and water with 2 cloves of garlic cook for 40min
♦️ ️Once cooked, remove from the heat and let cool.
♦️ ️Mix with a hand blender
♦️ ️ add the cumin with the turmeric mix with a 1tbsp of water
♦️ heat the olive oil in a saucepan with 2 cloves of grated garlic
♦️ ️Add to your bessara
♦️ ️Serve immediately, sprinkling with paprika and cumin.
